Ding dong. Or at least the equivalent. Mr. Wang, or as he liked to call
himself, Man Li Wang, had a visitor. Normally he would be suspicious but he
was expecting visitors. Unexpected visitors were expected when his 'friends'
where visiting.
"Are you going to answer that?" Doc Grey looked at him impatiently.
"Nah. Probably Mormans." Wang responded non-chalantly.
That didn't give his friend much comfort. Doc Grey's large black eyes seemed
to bug out of his head even more so than usually. You see, Doc Grey, wasn't
fully human. And he definitely was the next gen of human than Wang and his
other friend Bishop were. No, Grey was once human until some corporate
scientist decided to splice his DNA with some genetic material found at
Roswell. Now Doc Grey literally looked like a more human version of a "Grey".
A distant voice could now be heard from beyond Wang's apartment door.
"Mr. Wang, we have a business proposition for you." spoke the non-descript
voice from beyond the portal.
"I sincerely hope you don't intend to let them in." Doc Grey commented.
"No but I don't think that will deter them much." Wang responded.
"Mr. Wang, we think our proposition will be interesting to you. If you
could let us in, we could speak about it."
"Eat a dick."
Wang's unprofessional response was not met with a response.
"They are hacking into the apartment. Rather they are trying to hack into
the apartment."
The last comment came from his other remaining comrade that was currently
sitting on a adjacent couch staring off into the distance. The light was on
but noone was home. Bishop always got that blank look when he was surfing
for data in the Deep. He was another Human 2.0 that was overly confident and
equally arrogant about his abilities. Add a some conspiracy theories and
alot of paranoia and you had the hacker pegged.
"Ooops! They are getting in!" Bishop's meat body said from its trance.
Just then the door to the aparment in front of them opened and two perfect
human specimens walked in. That is they were too perfect. One guy and one
gal. Neither of them looked like even a hair was out of place. Both
had a smile that could make any semi-normal person uncomfortable.
Their faces were perfectly Caucasian. And by that, they had the same color
of skin that you got when you used the 'flesh' color from your crayon set.
